What kinds of things can you help me with?
I get frequent inquiries about the condition of box gutters, roofing, siding and trim materials, flashing details, etc. I can review exterior elements, help to assess their viability, and suggest short term and long term maintenance, repair or replacement options. I can review or help to develop a scope of work to share with potential contractors, or analyze and compare bids that you’ve received. I can also review completed work, provide inspection summaries and outline corrective measures if necessary.
How can I prepare to make the best use of our call?
Introduce me to your house. What style is it? When was it built? Where is it located? What are some of the distinguishing characteristics? What is your vision for it? What have you done so far? What are you working on now? How can we help?
What resources should I gather?
Depending on your needs, basic items that are usually helpful are the address of the property (we can use Google StreetView and Google Earth to do a virtual drive-by/fly-over), photos of the home and any specific details that you want to review, site plans or lot maps, satellite measurements or basic floorplans.
What happens after our call?
Hopefully I am able to answer all of your questions and provide helpful next-steps for you. If necessary, we’ll collaborate on action items and you can schedule a follow-up call to go over the findings once complete.
The available time slots don’t work for me, are there any other options?
Because I am an owner-operator, my work in the field dictates my ability to open up additional time slots. I will re-evaluate and add days and times as I’m able.
